{"id":915,"date":"2011-10-07T01:32:41","date_gmt":"2011-10-07T01:32:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thunderofwade.com\/blog\/?p=915"},"modified":"2011-10-07T01:32:41","modified_gmt":"2011-10-07T01:32:41","slug":"the-burn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thunderofwade.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/07\/the-burn\/","title":{"rendered":"the burn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was fixing myself some dinner tonight and once again, under estimated wasabi. \u00a0 I had some noodles and tuna in a bowl, added some soy sauce, and then a bit of wasabi to give it some kick.<\/p>\n<p>Except that I had added perhaps a bit too much wasabi. \u00a0And the noodles were still hot enough to produce steam. \u00a0So, as I mixed the noodles and tuna together with the wasabi, I stirred up some wasabi\u00a0laden\u00a0steam. \u00a0Which wafted right up into my eyes. There was a moment of &#8220;oh, this is weird&#8221; &#8211; which then directly turned into &#8220;uh-oh&#8221; &#8211; which then became &#8220;holy shit!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I moved away from the steam, tore my glasses off, and rubbed my eyes until they stopped burning.<\/p>\n<p>I had, essentially, maced myself with wasabi-steam.<\/p>\n<p>Lesson learned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was fixing myself some dinner tonight and once again, under estimated wasabi. \u00a0 I had some noodles and tuna in a bowl, added some soy sauce, and then a bit of wasabi to give it some kick.
