So my room-mate – who is out of a job for almost a year, has massive medical bills coming, and has been relying heavily on me while I watch my spending to prepare for the next disaster – bought a TV yesterday.<\/p>\n
He wasn’t even supposed to be out of the house since he spent the last two weeks in the hospital. \u00a0But our neighbor was running some errands and invited him along. \u00a0 And the TV was on sale.<\/p>\n
So, that makes it okay somehow. \u00a0 And we now have 5 TV’s in the apartment.<\/p>\n
I’m so tired of being the safety net for bad decisions. \u00a0And I’m tired of being angry all the time.<\/p>\n
Just this morning, I was clearing out the spam comments on my blog and felt a surge of anger when one of the spammers commented on the spelling errors in my posts.<\/p>\n
Now, they don’t really know if I’ve spelled things wrong in any post. \u00a0They don’t know me or know anything about my blog and what I write. \u00a0But for just a moment, I wanted to track them down and smack them with a dictionary. \u00a0 \u00a0Which actually works on a couple levels since most spam is rife with misspellings anyway.<\/p>\n
A few weeks ago, my room-mate had suggested that I be the one to move out. \u00a0 A foolish idea on his part, but last night I told him that I was going to start looking for a place.<\/p>\n
Part of me hates leaving him to the fate he made for himself. \u00a0 And part of me is desperate to get out of that\u00a0increasingly\u00a0emotionally\u00a0toxic\u00a0environment. \u00a0 Right in the middle of that – and I’m sick to my stomach.<\/p>\n
