{"id":584,"date":"2009-04-17T14:17:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-17T14:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thunderofwade.com\/blog\/2009\/04\/17\/news-sleep-story\/"},"modified":"2009-04-17T14:17:00","modified_gmt":"2009-04-17T14:17:00","slug":"news-sleep-story","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thunderofwade.com\/blog\/2009\/04\/17\/news-sleep-story\/","title":{"rendered":"news, sleep, story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I got an update on my grandmother today &#8211; she&#8217;s not recovering from her stroke as quickly as we&#8217;d thought she was. \u00a0Still some vision problems and some <span class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\" id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\">cognitive<\/span> issues. \u00a0 \u00a0It&#8217;s got me a little down.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I&#8217;ve also not been getting enough sleep recently. \u00a0There&#8217;s been some work and family stress going on and though I&#8217;m getting the same sleep hours I usually do &#8211; they aren&#8217;t working as well. \u00a0 \u00a0I&#8217;ve also had a bunch more dreams upon waking and though I can identify some of the elements from my waking world, the combination is disturbing and disconcerting.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In better news&#8230; I spent much of the afternoon outside when I got home from work. \u00a0Had a snack, did some reading &#8211; just relaxed a bit on my quiet back porch. \u00a0 Wasn&#8217;t quite warm enough to how shirtless and get some sun &#8211; but it was fine for t-shirt, blue jeans, and flip-flops. \u00a0<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I&#8217;ve also starting kicking around a story in my head &#8211; a sort of modern day retelling of the myth of Pandora. \u00a0 She&#8217;s got a thing for containers and I can certainly relate. \u00a0I want to work on it in my head for a little while before committing it to pen &#8211; maybe I&#8217;ll work on it on this beach this summer.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Time for another meeting&#8230; gotta run. \u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>later&#8230;<\/div>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img width='1' height='1' src='https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/7938355-2466516330861800550?l=approximatelyequalto.blogspot.com' alt='' \/><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got an update on my grandmother today &#8211; she&#8217;s not recovering from her stroke as quickly as we&#8217;d thought she was. \u00a0Still some vision problems and some cognitive issues. \u00a0 \u00a0It&#8217;s got me a little down.
