{"id":569,"date":"2009-03-16T11:13:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-16T11:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thunderofwade.com\/blog\/2009\/03\/16\/laptop-walk-email\/"},"modified":"2009-03-16T11:13:00","modified_gmt":"2009-03-16T11:13:00","slug":"laptop-walk-email","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thunderofwade.com\/blog\/2009\/03\/16\/laptop-walk-email\/","title":{"rendered":"laptop, walk, email"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><span>I&#8217;m on a laptop here this morning. \u00a0No word yet on how soon the replacement board will come in for my dual monitor machine, so, to avoid the wrath of my cube neighbors, I decided to borrow a laptop and work quietly. \u00a0Not a big deal &#8211; though I don&#8217;t have admin access on this machine and ran into some flash-issues because I couldn&#8217;t install it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span><span><br \/>I also recently got the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite &#8211; but that&#8217;s on the main and still very noisy machine. \u00a0I would have liked to take that for a spin today, but there&#8217;s other work to be done anyway.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><span><br \/>Over the weekend I went for a long walk. \u00a0 My room-mate needed a prescription picked up and Rite Aid was within my effective range. \u00a0 Took me about an hour round trip and though the weather was nice, there were two problems.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><span><br \/>1. The trash. \u00a0I was amazed and dismayed at how much litter was along side the roads. \u00a0 Beer bottles, plastic bags and wrappers and one very obviously used diaper. \u00a0 Seriously, what kind of a person throws a used diaper out the window of a moving car?<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span><span>2.
