I took myself for a walk today since I\u2019d gotten caught up with all the \u201cbusiness\u201d I needed to conduct on my day off.\u00a0 It was a nice enough day and I needed to drop a bill off at the post office.\u00a0 So, I guess there was more “business”, but at least it was on my terms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our neighborhood is a nice one, with quiet streets and well-kept houses.\u00a0 I took a different way home than I usually do after one of these walks and went past a house that had a sign right at the street that said, \u201cNo turn around. No Trespassing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which seemed a little harsh.\u00a0 Sometimes turning around in a driveway is the best approach when someone is lost and it seemed odd to be upset about something like that.\u00a0 The No Trespassing seemed a little extra harsh too.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maybe it was the font. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I walked past the driveway I saw a sign further up the drive attached to a tree.\u00a0 I stopped to look closer and saw that it said \u201cYou are now a trespasser\u201d – to further hammer home their feelings, I guess – and it included a graphic.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of the view through a gun sight.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I shook my head and continued my walk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n So much anger and fear in that simple sign. Something must have happened and now they are pushing everyone away.
