For some people it was the claws or the teeth, but for many, it was the eyes. The contacts I got from my eye doctor were all white, but the blue of my eyes shown through and had a great effect - some people couldn't even look at me for long. Special thanks to Jeff for the help with the makeup, it was really creepy and worked really well. So simple - but so... different.

Wow... just, wow. I wore this all day and it still freaks me out. The light and the shadows... it's really inhuman. You can just imagine something like this lunging at you from the darkness. (shudder)

Full torso view in our conference room. :) A little "30 days of night" maybe. Again, the light here really makes this one work. Inhuman, but a real presence. Good shot of the talons here as well - if this thing gets a hold of you, well... that's pretty much it. Very predatory - a hunter.

And hungry.

The umbrella was a nice prop - and very useful too. It was raining in the morning and it kept me dry. In the afternoon, it kept me from bursting into flames from the sunshine. :) This shot was taken outside of Buchtel Hall - we got some weird looks when I posed here. The umbrella also gave me some nice reactions - lots of double-takes in the afternoon when the sun came out. This was late in the day and the makeup was still holding up pretty well.

I'm not really one for photo manipulation of my Halloween images - they generally stand on their own. But this one... It feels... old. Like an old-time camera - one last shot before the photographer met their swift and terrible end.
